allplants Named 7th in Startups 100: Most Disruptive New UK Businesses
The term ‘disruptive’ is close to the heart of our business, so to be listed as the UK’s 7th top disruptive startup of 2021 is a special moment.
What is the Startups 100?
The Startups publication was founded over 20 years ago and is the longest-running index of its kind. ‘For the 13th year running, Startups is proud to unveil its ranking of the 100 most disruptive and innovative UK small businesses.’
It’s a moment to mark in the calendar for companies like ours.
What did they have to say about us this year?
“The company has risen up the Startups 100 list into the top 10 from position 32 in 2020, in part owing to how it has continued to grow over the last 12 months; rather impressively, it now has the largest plant-based kitchen in all of Europe, run on 100% renewable energy.”
The article also notes our B-Corp certification, carbon neutrality, and the treatment of employees across the board. Want to read more about what they had to say? Check out the full article here.
The index also recognises allplants as the ‘highest placed sustainable business to feature’ this year (source) – an extra accolade that we’re especially proud of.
In the post, they reflect on the “plant-based movement [not] going anywhere anytime soon”, another point we’re happy to agree on.
We're soon to launch a whole host of roles as part of our next growth phase, so you’ll want to keep a close eye on our careers page over the coming months. If you’d like a teaser for two exciting live roles at the moment, we’re currently hiring for a Growth Marketing Manager and a Python Team Lead.
