Are Calippos Vegan?
3min read
When it’s hot and sunny outside, one of the best treats is grabbing an ice lolly from the shop – but if you’re plant-based, can you eat Calippos? Keep reading to have your question answered.
Calippo
Calippo is a well-known ice lolly brand selling its range in the UK, Ireland, New Zealand and Australia and they’re owned by Walls Ice Cream. They make fruit flavoured ice lollies that come in card cones which you have to squeeze like a toothpaste tube as you eat.
Did anyone else love waiting until it melted a little and then drinking the syrup?
Are Caloppos vegan-friendly?
It’s not a hard yes. While there are no animal products or derivatives in the ingredients lists, these aren’t a certified vegan product and contain a ‘may contain milk’ warning.
