What are Lotus Biscuits?
Lotus biscuits, or Lotus speculoos biscuits, are a type of shortbread biscuit that originated in Belgium and the Netherlands. They are distinctive in flavour due to being spiced; typically speculoos biscuits contain cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and cardamom. It has also resulted in the creation of Biscoff spread, which has a consistency reminiscent of nut butter and is also very popular.
Are they vegan?
