Are Super Noodles Vegan?
1min read
Many may have a packet of Super Noodles stashed away in our cupboards from camping trips or for the occasional fuss-free and quick tea, but are they vegan?
About Super Noodles
Like the humble Pot Noodle, Super Noodles are a brand of instant noodles that really get their time to shine at festivals and Duke of Edinburgh expeditions — and is also definitely a favourite of lots of uni students. Consisting of a flavour packet and dehydrated noodles, all one needs to make them is some boiling water, making them an option for those in a pinch who want something quick.
Are Super Noodles vegan and vegetarian?
Though they are not officially certified as vegan, there are a couple of flavours which don't contain animal products and are therefore vegan-friendly! The noodles themselves are eggless, making them suitable for vegans, and meaty flavours such as bacon and BBQ beef actually don’t contain any traces of meat in them. However, due to the presence of milk, BBQ beef and Bacon Super Noodles are vegetarian, but not vegan. Fortunately, the Chow Mein, Peri Peri Chicken and Mild Curry Super Noodles don’t contain any animal products, making them vegan-friendly.
