by Laura Barns

4min read

If you’re looking to make some cruelty-free beauty product swaps, a great place to start is with vegan-friendly hair care.

What makes a hair care product cruelty-free? Both vegan and cruelty-free products contain no animal-derived ingredients, and it also means they haven’t been tested on animals.

There are loads of great vegan and cruelty-free hair care brands out there now, making shopping easier than ever. We’ve rounded up a few of our favourites, and would love to hear yours in the comments.

Umberto Gianni

At Umberto Giannini, they put everything into creating the best cruelty-free hair care that gives you your best hair day, straight from the bottle. Their belief is that a product doesn’t have to contain animal-derived ingredients to perform well – in fact, they believe the opposite. The vegan ingredients that they’ve bottled up enhance, replenish, manage and breathe life to all hair types.
