by Laura Barns

The 16-year-old activist is vegan for the planet. And she encourages anyone who’s listening to her, to follow the same lifestyle.
Thunberg is urging people to follow a vegan diet in her latest short film For Nature. She has teamed up with the animal welfare charity Mercy For Animals to create the film.
In the film, Thunberg shares how the global health crisis, ecological crisis, and climate crisis are all correlated thanks to the industrialisation of animal agriculture for human consumption.
She shared the following on her Twitter account:
"Up to 75 percent of all new diseases come from other animals because of the way we farm and treat animals. We are creating the perfect conditions for diseases to spill over from one animal to another, and to us. The next pandemic could be much, much worse, but we can change."
