There are many slight nuances when it comes to personal dietary preferences, and sometimes it can be confusing to understand what everyone does and doesn’t eat. Today, we’re answering the question, is a vegan diet dairy-free?

What is a dairy-free diet?
Someone who is following a dairy-free diet might be doing so either for environmental, ethical or health reasons. Lots of people in the UK have trouble digesting dairy products and choose to cut them from their diets.
They won’t eat any dairy products, for example, or any dairy-based kinds of milk, creams, butter and cheeses.
What is a vegan diet?
Someone following a vegan diet also won’t eat any dairy-based products, but also won’t eat any meat or animal-derived products.
Is a vegan diet also dairy-free?
So naturally, a vegan diet is indeed also dairy-free.
