by Toni Olukiran

2min read

Armani is a luxury fashion and beauty brand sought after and revered around the world. But is its makeup range cruelty-free and vegan? Read on to find out.

About Armani

Armani is an Italian fashion house born in 1975 by Giorgio Armani and his partner. While Armani is best known for couture fashion, fragrances and eyewear, it is also one of many luxury fashion brands with a line of makeup that people remain loyal to.

Is Armani cruelty-free?

Armani states on their website:

‘Giorgio Armani does not use animals to test its products, and does not have animal testing conducted by anyone else to support our product safety review.’

However, it sells its products in countries where animal testing is required by law such as mainland China, and is therefore not truly cruelty-free.

Is Armani vegan?

No, Armani isn’t vegan as it contains animal byproducts such as lanolin, beeswax and honey in its formulas.
