Is Baileys Vegan?

by Toni Olukiran

1min read

Bailey’s is a favourite around the holiday season and always goes down a treat at parties, but is it vegan?

What is Baileys?

Baileys Irish Cream is a cream liqueur from Ireland, and has been produced since 1974. It is made of irish whisky, cream, cocoa, and as a sweet, dessert-like drink it is particularly popular around Christmas time.

Is Baileys Vegan?

The original flavour of Bailey’s isn’t vegan. This is unsurprising, considering the key ingredient is cream. However, there is still some great news for vegans: Baileys have a vegan-friendly version of the iconic drink! Made with almond milk, Baileys Almande is a plant-based alternative to the original and is still super delicious.

You can find Baileys Almande in many supermarkets, including Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons. Your Christmas just got better (and sweeter)!
