Kick-starts your metabolism for the day: Our metabolism is largely affected by our circadian rhythms, the sleep-wake cycle. By eating after we wake up you can burn more calories during the day.

Having a big breakfast could help aid in weight loss: In fact, it’s believed that you could burn twice as many calories eating a large breakfast rather than eating a large dinner!

Skipping breakfast is more likely to result in obesity and related chronic diseases: There is some conflicting research here, but the general trends point towards breakfast eaters having a healthier overall lifestyle.
