Is Garnier Cruelty-Free And Vegan?
1min read
Garnier are well known in the beauty industry, selling everything from hair dye to BB creams, but are they cruelty-free and suitable for vegans? Find out everything you need to know below.
About Garnier
Garnier was founded back in 1904, and the first product sold was a plant-based hair mask (we love to see it!). It has since expanded to include hair colouring and was the first company to sell permanent at-home hair dye, and also branched into skincare and body care.
Is Garnier vegan?
Garnier is not fully vegan, as some products still contain animal derivatives such as beeswax and lanolin. However, it does still carry products with vegan formulas, including a wide range of hair masks.
Is Garnier cruelty-free?
Yes, Garnier is indeed cruelty-free, and has been certified by the Leaping Bunny, and is the largest high-street hair care brand to get this certification, which is great news.
