Is Halo Top Vegan?

by Toni Olukiran

1min read

Halo top has hit supermarket shelves and people are loving what it has to offer. But are any of the Halo Top flavours suitable for vegans? Find out here.

What is Halo Top?

Halo Top is a brand of ice cream; each tub is between 280-380 calories and is also a source of protein. The brand took off in America, where it was founded, and soon made its way over the UK, where it has also won a legion of fans of the stuff (which makes complete sense, the ice cream is pretty dreamy).

Is Halo Top vegan?

Halo Top isn’t a vegan brand as some of its range includes animal byproducts, however, the company does sell vegan-friendly versions of their products. The vegan alternatives are made using coconut milk. Vegan flavours include:

  • Peanut Butter Cup
  • Candy Bar
  • Birthday Cake
  • Sea Salted Caramel
  • Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
  • Hazelnut Crunch

Look out for the Halo Top pints with the light blue branding on the back, as these are all dairy-free alternatives.
