Huel has become a well-known brand with its complete shakes, but is it vegan? Find out here.
What is Huel?
Huel is a food brand selling nutritionally complete meal replacement shakes. The shakes contain all the essential vitamins, fats, protein and carbs for a single meal, hence why it can be classified as complete. Founded in the UK in 2014 by Julian Hearn, it is now sold internationally and has sold millions of units.
Is Huel vegan?
Huel is indeed vegan, using only plant-based ingredients in order to create nutritionally complete shakes. This means anyone plant-based can still try Huel’s meal replacement shakes for themselves. They also do a gluten-free range, so those who are gluten-free, as well as vegan, can also give the shakes a go.
