Irn-Bru

Is Irn-Bru vegan?

Yes, we’re happy to be able to say that Irn-Bru is 100% suitable for vegans and vegetarians according to the company and its ingredients list. Even though the drink contains Taurine, it currently only uses synthetic stuff, not animal-derived.

Does Irn-Bru have caffeine in it?

The short answer is yes, Irn- Bru does contain caffeine.

How much caffeine is in Irn-Bru?

Irn-Bru’s caffeine content varies from drink to drink, but the regular 330ml can contains 30mg of caffeine – which is about half of what you’d find in a cup of tea. Irn-Bru Energy has around three times as much caffeine, which is about equal to a high street coffee.
