About Matt Tebbutt

Matt Tebbutt is a chef and television presenter, best known for cookery shows including Food Unwrapped for Channel 4, Market Kitchen for Good Food and Saturday Kitchen on BBC One. After gaining a diploma from Leith’s School of Food and Wine - founded by restaurateur, chef and TV personality Prue Leith - Tebbutt went on to work with leading chefs including Marco Pierre White and Alistair Little. He has hosted BBC's long-running Saturday morning cookery show, Saturday Kitchen, since the departure of James Martin in 2016.

Is Matt Tebbutt Vegan?

Although the presenter has a keen love of vegetarian and vegan food, it's not been reported that Matt Tebbutt is vegan (yet!).

"I find myself cooking more vegetarian food these days as lots of customers request it. I believe people are also starting to think more about where their food comes from and are trying to source local, sustainable food, so I’m sure there will be plenty of veggies on the table in many households this year," he shared, with Love Food.

You can check out his new series – Go Veggie And Vegan With Matt Tebbutt – on Channel 5 now.
