Drinking a small to moderate amount of black tea is overall neither a strictly ‘good’ or ‘bad’ thing. Positives that come with drinking tea include increased hydration, alertness and even improve gut health!

Is decaf tea bad for you?
No, decaf tea isn’t bad for you – however, tea does lose around 70% of its antioxidant during the decaffeination process.
Are there any side effects to drinking too much tea?
There are a few side effects linked to drinking too much tea. These can include:
- Poor sleep
- Headaches
- Heartburn
- Nausea
- Dizziness
