Home bakers will be familiar with this as an alternative to butter, but is Trex suitable for vegans? Keep reading to find out.

What is Trex?

Trex is a dairy-free butter alternative that’s used by professional bakers and home cooks alike. It’s lower in saturated fat than most butter and it’s formula means you can use around 20% less in recipes. It’s also specially aerated which makes for lighter cakes and other bakes!

Is Trex vegan-friendly?

Trex is made from vegetable fat and doesn’t use any animal derivatives in its manufacturing which means it’s suitable for vegans and vegetarians too.
