As the nights draw in we all universally turn to classic comfort foods to help keep us feeling warm and cosy. We’ve put together some of our favourite vegan toad in the hole recipes to make tonight’s dinner something special.

This recipe from Avant-Garde Vegan will make all of your plant-based toad in the hole dreams come true. It’s crisp, soft and satisfying with a full-bodied vegan gravy to boot. This is the perfect recipe to recharge after a blustery mid-winter walk. Be warned, a nap might be on the cards afterwards.

If fully-sized vegan sausages are a bit too predictable for your plant-based toad in the hole, then you’re going to love this bite-sized recipe from Lidl. Sometimes miniature versions come in superior, and this is certainly one of those times. These mini vegan toad in the holes won’t stick around for long!

Rosemary vegan toad in the hole recipe

Here’s another great recipe for a vegan toad in the hole from One Green Planet. It’s perfectly infused with rosemary and is sure to reach your nose before it’s ready to be served.
