This vegan wonton soup recipe from Connoisseurus Veg is closely inspired by the original dish. Deeply savoury shiitake wontons and crispy napa cabbage are served in a warming and fiery ginger broth. This is the ideal lunch for any combination of chilly, wet or windy days.

Looking for a deep, fiery heat with your vegan wontons? Then this recipe from Bianca Zapatka with its spicy chilli sauce might just be what you’re after. The wontons are stuffed with a vegetable filling and can either be boiled or steamed and added to soup or fried and enjoyed with their dipping sauce as an accompaniment to a meal.
