As we’re still waiting for days to fully warm back up, what better way to enjoy the (still kind of) chilly weather than with a warming serving of vegan wontons? We’ve put together a list of our favourite plant-based recipes for every mood.

This vegan wonton soup recipe from Connoisseurus Veg is closely inspired by the original dish. Deeply savoury shiitake wontons and crispy napa cabbage are served in a warming and fiery ginger broth. This is the ideal lunch for any combination of chilly, wet or windy days.

Looking for a deep, fiery heat with your vegan wontons? Then this recipe from Bianca Zapatka with its spicy chilli sauce might just be what you’re after. The wontons are stuffed with a vegetable filling and can either be boiled or steamed and added to soup or fried and enjoyed with their dipping sauce as an accompaniment to a meal.

Air-fryer wontons

With the ever-growing air-fryer hype, we had to include a vegan wonton recipe that makes use of it. These vegan wontons are filled with cabbage, carrot, onions, tofu and plenty of spices then air-fried for around five minutes until crispy and lightly brown.
