Looking for a new favourite cafe for a good cuppa with your favourite canine? Here are seven of the best dog-friendly vegan cafes in London.

Whether you have a dog in tow or just want the opportunity to pet a pup on your lunch break, there are lots of vegan cafes across London that are dog friendly. Here’s the guide to the best vegan cafes that welcome our best friend.

Bodega 50 is part cafe and part, well, bodega, and in the true American style offers vegan products, fresh fruit and vegetables for you to buy, as well as pastries and cakes. For delicious and light lunches and great drinks, Bodega 50 should definitely be on your radar.

Miranda’s cafe is another completely vegetarian and vegan cafe that welcomes your pups inside. Stationed in Crouch End, it embodies the term ‘world cafe’, as everything from Peruvian corn to Carribean jackfruit to Japanese gyoza is on the menu. Be sure to check out their brunch for hearty vegan food, available till 3pm every day.

Minimalist and cool, Kin is a dog-friendly veggie and vegan cafe with chilled music, great staff and tasty food. Colourful smoothie bowls, fresh salads, indulgent cakes and traybakes, and dog friendly to boot — Kin is just what you want from a cafe.

A wander round an art gallery followed by a stack of vegan American-style pancakes at a dog-friendly cafe sounds like the perfect Sunday to us. St Margaret’s house is a haven for art lovers — film, crafts, spoken word and every other medium you can think of — and their cake is known far and wide for being absolutely scrumptious.

Mildred’s

With locations in Dalston, Camden, London and Soho, Mildred’s is a dog friendly, established vegan joint providing fresh multicultural food and vegan soft and alcoholic drinks.

100% vegan, Lele’s serves up fantastic food and rich coffees making it a well-known and loved spot in East London. Not only is Lele’s dog friendly, but it even has a dog menu making it the perfect little spot for both you and your pup.

The Canvas Cafe

With a complete vegan menu, the Canvas cafe is a lovely hole-in-the-wall style cafe and community arts hub based in Spitalfields. Providing lots of decadent desserts and traybakes, and savoury bites, the canvas cafe is a great spot to have in your arsenal. It’s also important and loved in the local community: giving hot food to the homeless and having a pay-it-forward scheme, there’s a reason why this place is held in such high regard. And let’s not forget — it's dog friendly, too.
