What is Sproud?
Founded in Malmö, Sweden, in 2018, Sproud has been producing plant-based milk that’s flying off the shelves!
Their mission is simple (and comfortingly familiar) – they want ‘to make the world’s best tasting, most sustainable and nutritious plant-based milk available for as many people as possible.’
Sproud pea milk
Sproud’s plant-based milk is made from peas – not the green variety that we eat for dinner, but yellow split-peas. If you’d like to know more about pea milk’s nutritional properties and how it’s made check out our guide, here.
Sproud milk ingredients
Other than yellow split-peas the list of ingredients you’ll find in their milk is relatively small. In Sproud Barista there’s:
- Water
- Rapeseed oil
- Agave syrup
- Gluten-free oats oil
- Salt
- Calcium
- An acidity regulator
- And Vitamins D, Riboflavin and B12
If you’re buying their chocolate drink, the only extra ingredient is cocoa.
