The Best London Night Markets For Late Night Bites
2min read
Wondering where to find the best food for late nights? With stalls around London, you won’t be short of options. Here are our favourite spots serving up vegan-friendly delicious street food in the evenings. Or if you're staying in, try a chef-made meal without the faff (or washing up).
Urban Food Fest
Euro Car Parks, 162-167 Shoreditch High St, London E1 6HU
Saturdays 12 PM - 12 AM
This East London market is somewhat of a staple for those in the know. Popping up every saturday, food stalls serving up food from around the world appear to feed the masses, and it has a great vibe. From pizza to jerk tofu to springy sesame noodles, you can find street food to suit every cuisine and craving, and made plant-based.
Vinegar Yard
72-82 St Thomas St, London SE1 3QX
Monday-Saturday 12pm-10pm
Vinegar Yard has been a central part of lockdown meets for many, thanks to their big outdoor space and heat lamps during the winter; and it’s also the food that we’re sure keeps people coming back for more. If you’re a fan of an all-out American-style vegan burger, you should make a beeline straight to Nanny Bill’s stall.
Netil Market
13, 23 Westgate St, London E8 3RL
Wednesday-Sunday 10am-10pm
Netil market is known as being the stomping ground for foodies far and wide, and what with the revered Taiwanese restaurant BAO beginning its journey at a stall here, it continues to draw in long, long lines. For top-quality vegan food, you absolutely must pay a visit to Pockets, selling some of the best falafel in pitta this side of London (shout out to the potato hash for a hands-down eating experience).
Pop Brixton
49 Brixton Station Rd, London SW9 8PQ
Sunday — Wednesday 9am-11pm, Thursday — Saturday 9am-12am
Pop Brixton is the place to be for a market with indie shops and delicious food stalls in South London. Voted one of the best food markets in London, you can find amazing dishes and fantastic vibes. Be sure to stop by Baba G’s for lifechanging masala fries, and pay a visit to Caribe for a visit to the tropics with its plantain + avocado salsa.
For the evenings when you're staying in (and fancy a night off cooking), fill your freezer with allplants chef-made meals.
