This plant-based bacon is perhaps one of the most deli-like sets of rashers on this list. They’ll be sure to add the fine to your dining.
Vegan Cartel is a company who champion the environmental benefits of choosing their plant-based product. From 90% lower carbon and water footprints to 90% less land used and even a 26% higher protein count than pork-based bacon. Plus, it takes less time to cook than making a fresh pot of coffee! If you’re in the market for plant-based bacon that really crisps up nicely, then THIS might just be the one for you. They’re soy-based rashers that are high in protein and fortified with vitamin B12 & iron. It’s pretty yummy stuff and they even have a Great Taste Award to prove it.

Sainsbury’s own plant-based line, Plant Pioneers, has a great tasting vegan bacon now as part of its rapidly growing repertoire. It’s a more affordable option, but this doesn’t compromise anything on flavour.

These organic tempeh rashes from Better Nature might seem like an initial curveball, but we’re 100% here for it. Tempeh originated from Indonesia and is made from fermented soybeans; it’s full of flavour, protein and fibre as well as being one of our favourite ingredients. So, what’s not to love about tempeh rashers?
