3min read
Whether this is a totally grown-up pursuit or you’re looking for something to involve the kids with, we’ve got some festive craft ideas for you to get stuck into.
Now that the nights are getting darker (not to mention colder, this seems like the perfect time to get focused on some creative and relaxing crafts.
Make a reusable advent calendar
Now, we know just how fun a chocolate advent calendar can be. Making your own calendar doesn’t mean that you can’t start your December mornings with a hit of the smooth stuff, it’s quite the opposite in fact.
You can fill your pockets, bags or doors with your own personal favourite treats. These can be edible, or not! It’s a great opportunity to use up scrap fabrics you have lying around and cut down on landfill this Christmas.

Christmas card making
Making your own Christmas cards might seem like a mammoth task at first, but it’s just another great excuse to get crafty. This can be as simple as cutting up old cards you’ve received or a chance to get a little more adventurous and explore block printing (with anything from a sponge to a potato!).

Wreath making
What a great excuse to get into the garden and take some luscious green cuttings! You can adorn your wreath with dried orange slices, berries, pinecones or anything else you can get your hands on.
