Business Secretary and Cabinet minister, Kwasi Kwareng, has said that that the growing volumes of consumers abstaining from meat and dairy products will help the UK reach its huge 78 per cent reduced emissions target for 2035. The Vegan Kind, a plant-based online supermarket, has pledged a tree-planting initiative to help offset carbon emissions as well as launching a new educational platform ‘to help spread awareness of ecological issues.’ So far they have planted 2,343 trees and will continue to plant one for every check-out.

After the bakery’s uncharted success with the vegan sausage roll, Greggs has unveiled the latest plant-based options to reach customers – a plant-based version of its sausage breakfast bap and its ham and cheese baguette. Customers will be able to buy them in ‘the next week or two.’
4. ‘Michelin-Star Chef Alexis Gauthier Turns London Restaurant 100% Vegan Despite Pushback From Customers’ Plant-Based News

The French Michelin star chef, Alexis Gauthier, shares his plans on working towards an entirely plant-based menu that has been in the works for a number of years. Customers have had mixed reactions at his brasserie Gauthier in Soho, but the menu already includes popular vegan options and we can’t wait to see what else the team comes up with.
5.‘The first-ever commercial vegan caterpillar cake is launching in the UK’ Vegan Food And Living

If we could cope with any more caterpillar cake-based news then this would be it. Just Love Food Company has revealed their offering to the gang of caterpillars and it sounds like a tasty new cake. Their name is Archie and they’re a dairy and egg-free delight!
