Vegan Shack, a new fast-food restaurant, is landing in Manchester In July, after launching two years ago in a 1 bedroom flat. Modelled after McDonald’s, it calls itself ‘the future of fast food’, being completely plant-based while having key features like a breakfast menu and saver menu like other fast-food chains. We can’t wait to try it!

2. Kylie Jenner Makes Lip Range Completely Vegan

Reality TV star and businesswoman Kylie Jenner has decided to reformulate her line of lip kits to be 100% vegan. Sharing with her Instagram follows that the lip brand was getting a ‘makeover’, her lip kits are now the second line of hers to go fully plant-based, as her skincare line Kylie Skin is also vegan.  

3. TikTok’s Vegan Sweetheart Tabitha Brown Releases New Spice Blend

TV chef and social media personality Tabitha Brown is releasing a new spice blend after her rise to popularity and success in the last year. Releasing cooking videos on TikTok of her plant-based creations, Brown is well-known on the app for her appetizing and — perhaps most importantly — very well seasoned food, so this comes as no surprise. 

4. Nestle Launches Vegan Kitkat This Week

After months of teasing and speculation, Nestle has finally released their new vegan Kitkat. The chocolate bar uses a rice-based milk alternative to make sure it is suitable for vegans. The sweet treat is available in Sainsbury’s stores across the UK, so if you’ve gone plant-based and have missed taking a break with a KitKat, it’s back on the table!

5. Vegan Chain Opens Fifth Location In The UK

Vegan restaurant chain Doner Summer is gearing up to open its fifth store. With all four existing stores in the North (Leeds, Manchester, Hull and York), it has hinted at opening its fifth somewhere North, which has fans speculating it will be Sheffield. Serving up tender and flavourful vegan donner creations, it’s sure to be a hit, wherever the store is.
