Fresh Berry Granita

We've somehow managed to create a recipe that's even easier than ice lollies and requires half the ingredients (of an already short list). Introducing our berry granita (or shaved ice - you do you). It's refreshing, sweet and tangy.

Ingredients
300g berries (we used blueberries and blackberries)
1/3 cup sugar (we used coconut sugar)
3/4 cup water
1/2 lemon, juiced
Method
STEP 1
Toss your blueberries and sugar into a blender and puree until smooth. Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve placed over a bowl.
STEP 2
Add your water and lemon juice to the bowl and stir to combine. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and place in the freezer.
STEP 3
Scrape and stir the mixture with a fork once an hour for about 4 hours, until it's evenly frozen and icy. Serve!
