Serves
1
Ingredients
3 tbsp plain flour
3 tbsp maple syrup/sugar
3/4 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tbsp neutral oil / coconut oil
1 tbsp plant-based milk
¾ tbsp peanut butter
¼ tsp baking powder
1 tbsp chocolate chips
Toppings
Salted peanuts, chopped (optional)
Method
STEP 1
Combine flour, maple syrup, cocoa, baking powder, oil and milk in a mug. Mix until you have a thick and quite smooth texture (make sure to use one that can hold 200ml and above to prevent mixture from leaking out when being cooked).
STEP 2
Scoop peanut butter into the middle of the mixture and sprinkle your chocolate chips, then run through it using a knife or fork to create some swirls.
STEP 3
Place the mug in the microwave and heat for a minute and 10 seconds. You can cook it for longer but it can get quite dry, depending on your microwave (mine was set at 900W). Once done, make sure to let it cool down for a minute or two before tucking in. Enjoy!
