Golden Milk

Just because everyone around you is sick doesn’t mean you have to be. We’ve started making a habit of taking a shot of this golden mylk each morning before breakfast. It’s packed with all the good stuff: fresh turmeric, ginger, walnuts and lemon juice. Whether it’s the reason we’ve survived flu season or not, it's an energising morning ritual which we’re not getting rid of any time soon.

1 litre
Ingredients
½ cup walnuts
1 thumb fresh ginger, peeled
1 thumb fresh turmeric, peeled
¼ tsp black pepper (don't skip!)
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp maple syrup or agave
1 litre water
Method
STEP 1
Add all of the ingredients into a blender and blend on high speed for 1 minute. Transfer to an airtight bottle and store refrigerated for up to 5 days.
STEP 2
Take anywhere from a shot to a whole glass each morning.
