Orders

How many meals do I need to order?

You need a minimum of 4 meals to place an order. You can add up to 8 meals per box — the more you add, the lower the price per meal.

When will I be charged for an order?

You're charged when you check out. If you have a subscription, you'll be charged each Saturday for the following Monday's delivery.

Do I have to subscribe to order?

Not at all — you can place a one-off order whenever you like. Subscriptions are available if you'd like a regular weekly delivery.

How to cancel an order?

You can cancel or skip an order from your account dashboard up until the Saturday cut-off. After that point the order will have been prepared for dispatch.

Do you accept returns?

Due to the nature of frozen food, we can't accept returns. If there's ever an issue with your order please get in touch and we'll make it right.

Delivery

When will the meals be delivered?

We deliver every Monday. Place your order by Saturday evening to receive your box the following Monday.

What is the cost of delivery?

Delivery is always free.

How are the meals delivered?

Your meals arrive in an insulated box packed with dry ice, delivered by DPD.

What day of the week do you deliver?

We deliver on Mondays only.

Where do you deliver?

We deliver across mainland UK. We're unable to deliver to Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands & Islands, or the Channel Islands.

Do I need to be at home to receive my delivery?

No — your box stays frozen for up to 24 hours, so it's safe on the doorstep. Leave a safe place note if needed.

Do the meals arrive frozen?

Yes — meals are kept frozen during transit using dry ice. They should go straight into your freezer on arrival.

What happens if I miss the Saturday cut-off?

Your order will be scheduled for the following Monday instead. You can still edit or cancel from your account until Saturday evening.

Packaging & Recycling

Can I recycle the packaging?

Yes — our box and liner are both recyclable at your local recycling centre. The meal trays are also recyclable where facilities exist.

Can I return the packaging?

We don't currently offer a packaging return scheme, but we're working on it. For now, please recycle what you can.

What should I expect when opening my box?

You'll find your meals packed snugly inside an insulated liner, surrounded by dry ice pellets. Handle the dry ice with care — see below.

Is dry ice safe?

Dry ice is safe when handled correctly. Don't touch it with bare skin — use gloves or a cloth. Leave it in a well-ventilated space to evaporate naturally.

How do I get rid of dry ice?

Leave the dry ice in its bag in a well-ventilated area and it will evaporate on its own within a few hours. Never put it in the bin or down a sink.

Is dry ice safe around children and pets?

Keep dry ice out of reach of children and pets. It can cause skin burns on contact and can be harmful if swallowed. Always handle with care.

What if I touch some dry ice?

If dry ice touches your skin, move it away immediately and run the area under warm (not hot) water. Seek medical advice if the skin is blistered or very red.
