If we can change the way we eat, we can change the world. 

At allplants we believe we don't need a handful of people being perfectly sustainable, we need millions of people doing it imperfectly. And we need it now. That’s why we created allplants with a mission to inspire the planet to eat more plants.

Food is so much more than just what we eat. It’s culture, comfort, memories, ritual and industry, all rolled into one. We know that food choices are deeply personal, it’s part of the reason our chefs hand-make our meals from scratch. Taste is serious business, and will always come first in our kitchen. 

Our love affair with food aside, we also have to face the fact that a complete overhaul of our food systems is needed. With meat consumption falling by 17% in the UK in the last 10 years, it’s starting to happen. And as animal agriculture is the leading cause of deforestation, biodiversity loss, and water pollution, there has never been a better time to eat more plants. It is also second only to the fossil fuel industry for greenhouse gas emissions, meaning cutting animal products from our diets is a huge step towards saving the planet.

Food is wonderful, and it can be daunting to change the way we eat. That’s why at allplants we aren’t absolutist. The impact is huge if we all work together. In fact, if everyone in the UK swapped a red meat meal just once a week, the environmental impact would be the same as taking almost half of our cars off the road. That's the power of just one delicious meal at a time.
