Are Haribos Vegan?
1min read
Haribo are an iconic brand and you’ll find its sweets all around the world. But, are they vegan? We’ve got the info here.
A little bit of history
Haribo was founded in December 1920 in Bonn, Germany, and has since become the most popular brand worldwide selling gummy sweets. Haribo naturally has a strong UK presence, popular with both children and adults.
Is Haribos vegan?
Unfortunately, most Haribo products aren’t suitable for vegans; this is due to the presence of gelatin in the manufacturing process. However, there’s still good news if you’re a vegan with a sweet tooth: there are a few Haribo products that are indeed suitable for vegans. These are:
- Haribo Sour Rainbow Spaghetti
- Haribo Sour Rainbow Strips
- Haribo Rainbow Strips Sour
All of which can be found at My Vegan Supermarket, so if you’re looking for sour sweets, these have definitely got you covered. If you’re in the mood for a soft gummy bear, then you’re also in luck — Tesco sells a Haribo soft gummy bear 1KG pack.
