Are Pot Noodles Vegan?

by Toni Olukiran

1min read

Pot Noodles are loved by uni students and lazy cooks for a savoury and easy snack. But are they vegan? We’ve got the lowdown here.

What are Pot Noodles?

Pot Noodles have been produced since 1977 and have since become an iconic staple for the many that want their food fast. As the name suggests, they are instant noodles that can be cooked by pouring boiling water over it and leaving it to stand. They also come with flavour sachets and soy sauce.

Are Pot Noodles Vegan?

Surprisingly, yes! Lots of Pot Noodle flavours are vegan, despite meat flavours. Pot Noodles are the perfect example of those foods that are surprisingly and accidentally vegan. Vegan flavours certified by PETA are:

  • Bombay Bad Boy
  • Brazilian BBQ Steak
  • Chinese Chow Mein
  • Piri Piri Chicken
  • Beef and Tomato

So, there you have it! Though if you’re looking for delicious vegan noodles that can be made in a flash, we recommend you look to our Spicy Szechuan Style Noodles.
