Are Sour Patch Kids Vegan?
1min read
Sour Patch Kids are popular in the States and have recently made their way over to the UK, and we found out whether or not the sweet is vegan.
What are Sour Patch Kids?
source
Sour Patch Kids are a type of sweet and they are very similar to Haribos Tangfastics. Coated in a sour and sweet sugar coating, they are shaped like little figures or children and they are especially popular over in the United States.
Are they vegan?
Unfortunately, no, they aren’t. This is because they contain gelatin, a familiar sight for non-vegan sweets. If you’re looking for a gummy sweet that is still plant-based, though, you’re still in luck. M&S do a couple of sour gummy sweets that are very similar to Sour Patch Kids, such as Fizzy Whizzy Cola Bottles and Fizzy Pop Sweets.
