3min read

Vegan burgers
The huge range and variety of vegan burgers on offer in supermarkets today are tastier and more satisfying than ever before. There are options ranging from plant-based imitations of meat to more creative vegetable-inspired patties.
Are vegan burgers healthy?
In all honesty, the answer ranges from a ‘sometimes’ to more of a solid ‘no’.
Plant-based burgers sold in supermarkets are likely to have just as much salt as their meat counterparts, so they’re unlikely to make it onto a list of health-foods. Are soy burgers healthy?
It’s a similar answer here with soy burgers, opting for reduced salt and sugar will generally be your ‘healthiest’ best.
