Did Someone Say ‘Burger King’s Vegan Nuggets’?
We’re obsessed with vegan launches here, so obviously we’ve got something to say about the fast food giant Burger King’s latest plant-based menu item.
Burger King vegan nuggets
If you’re a fan of vegan nuggets then you’ll know that they’re the first high street fast-food chain to offer them. In fact, it’s a surprise it’s taken so long when the demand for plant-based versions of fast food has been on such a steady rise.

According to The Guardian ‘Burger King’s new plant-based offerings are part of its pledge to make its menu 50 per cent meat-free by 2030, which the company said would help it achieve a target of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 41 per cent.’
Are they 100% vegan?
They’ve been certified by The Vegan Society, and they have tough credentials, so we can tick that one.
What else is vegan at Burger King?
We have a few favourites like the Vegan Royale and Plant-Based Whopper, but if you want to check out our full guide to eating vegan at Burger King, read this next.
What is The Vegetarian Butcher?
These nuggets are the latest co-creation of The Vegetarian Butcher. If you haven’t heard of them, you might have tasted some of their work without knowing it. They helped develop Pizza Hut’s Peppero’nay Vegan Pizza and the Starbuck plant-based Tu’nah Sandwich.
