Is Nivea Cruelty-Free?
1min read
Nivea is a popular brand and known for its cleaners and moisturisers, but do they test their products on animals? Read on for what you need to know.
About Nivea
Nivea is one of the world’s largest and most recognisable skincare brands. Founded in 1911 in Germany with the introduction of Nivea creme, the first stable water in oil emulsion, the company expanded its range and soon its global reach.
Is Nivea cruelty-free?
While their official stance according to their website is that they don’t test on animals, Nivea is not cruelty-free. This is because they sell in countries where animal testing is required by law in order to distribute products.
Is Nivea vegan?
Nivea has products that are without animal products, but as they do currently test on animals, they still aren’t cruelty-free, they aren’t really vegan either.
