Is No. 7 Cruelty-Free And Vegan?
1min read
No.7 is a well known and respected brand known for catering makeup and skincare products to older demographics. But is it cruelty-free and vegan?
About No.7
No.7 is the cosmetics brand founded in 1935 and was developed by the health and beauty chain Boots. It was originally launched with a few creams and lotions but has since expanded to include makeup for eyes, lips and face. The skincare side of the brand is focused on older demographics, as there is an emphasis on anti-ageing in the majority of their products.
Is No. 7 cruelty-free?
No. 7 does appear to be cruelty-free, even though there is not much in the way of information from the brand themselves at the time of writing (2021). It is certified by cruelty-free organisations, but it is indeed cruelty-free.
Is No. 7 vegan?
No, No.7 isn’t vegan as it uses ingredients like lanolin in its products, however, some products don’t contain them witch would make them individually vegan.
