Is Pumpkin Pie Vegan?
3min read
It’s pumpkin season, and we’re here for it. But the question on everybody’s lips is whether pumpkin pie is suitable for anyone on a plant-based diet?
Why does everyone love pumpkin pie so much?
Because it tastes delicious and is the perfect cosy treat for any crisp autumnal day. It has an indulgent crust and creamy pumpkin filling that’s perfect for any chilly afternoon pick-me-up.
Is pumpkin pie suitable for vegans?
No, traditional pumpkin pies aren’t suitable for vegans as they contain butter, eggs and milk. However, it’s easy to make a plant-based version as inviting as the original.
