It can be a little confusing sometimes trying to know if all of the butter alternatives available in shops are vegan-friendly or not. Keep reading to find out if you should add Stork to your plant-based shopping list.

Stork is a well-known name in home baking – whether you’re whipping up fairy cakes, brownies or scones. They’ve been the tub to turn to for light and fluffy cakes, but is this UK margarine brand also suitable for those of us on a plant-based diet?

Is Stork vegan?

Yes, and no – it seems that Stork is vegan-friendly in its block form and a great plant-based option for baking any kind of tasty treat. However, the margarine that comes in a tub contains dairy-based buttermilk, making it unsuitable for vegans.
