by Toni Olukiran

Want some easy and fun vegan recipes to make with your little ones? Here are some easy and (tasty) recipes that you can make together.

October half-term is soon approaching, as is the task of keeping kids engaged in different activities. So get the kids cooking up some fun savoury eats and delicious treats (with minimal mess, we’ve got you covered there) with these child-friendly vegan recipes.

Chocolate Tahini truffles

Kids will eat anything covered in chocolate, right? Well, same goes for adults too. With these truffles, the filling is just as rich and delicious as the chocolate coating. With no oven time involved, this is a great recipe for the kids to get involved in. Rolling the tahini filling into balls and dipping them into chocolate is sure to keep them busy, too.

White chocolate bark

This vegan white chocolate bark is perfect for the little ones with a big sweet tooth. Creamy and sweet, this bark is easy and quick to make, but still interactive enough for the kids to get involved. Have them customise the toppings for their own personalised chocolate bar: pistachios, dried fruit, coconut flakes— the world’s your (and their) oyster.

Crispy chocolate orange bars

Nothing says childhood quite like rice crispy treats, so relive it with the children and make these crispy vegan chocolate orange bars together. Chocolate and orange are a power couple for a reason, and these no-bake bars are easy and fuss-free, perfect for mid-week treats.

Peanut butter pie

This no-bake pie is the perfect vegan dessert for kids. Sweet, salty, creamy and just dreamy. With a crisp Oreo crust filled with peanut butter cream and topped with more peanuts and drizzled chocolate , it's never been easier to make a decadent pie that looks amazing— with no oven needed.

Rosemary focaccia

Making bread is a hands-on process, making it a great activity for children. It's a simple and easy-to-follow recipe, and provides the opportunity for children to make their bread into fun shapes that they’ll love.

Vegan Margherita pizza

If there’s one thing kids love, its pizza. Host a pizza party with your little ones for a fun and interactive afternoon together. Eat as a Margherita, or let them customise their pizza with a range of plant-based toppings.
