Food and drinks dominate the app, be it coffee reviews, cocktail classes, or baking basics — so it’s no surprise that refreshing drink hacks keep cropping up this summer. So with biscoff iced coffees and Nutella lattes already on the menu, what’s the deal with the newest drink: creamy lemonade?
What is creamy lemonade?
Creamy lemonade is the newest drink that has foodies in a grip. Tiktoker Feelgoodfoodie shared her recipe with the world, which has five million views and half a million likes. She explains that it’s like a typical lemonade, except the secret ingredient is: condensed milk. For those of you with doubts, a similar drink is popular in Brazil, known as Limonada Suíça (and it’s utterly delicious).
‘But it’s not vegan?’ I hear you say. Well, with the new vegan condensed milk having hit shelves this year, those who are plant-based can also get in on the fun. Happy sipping!
