Vegan Sunday Roast Recipes

Sunday roast. The perfect meal for family and friends to catch up and share some great roast potatoes. We can all agree that this is British food at its finest. But what should you make? We think some of the best plant-based roast must-haves include vegan nut roast and Yorkshire puddings.

Whipping up a plant-powered roast is not only fun, but yields delicious results.

Whether you’re looking for some inspirational sides, like maple and ginger roast carrots, or you need a creative main event, like the delectable allplants mushroom wellingtons, we’ve got you covered with the ultimate vegan roast dinner recipes (not to forget the ultimate vegan gravy to lovingly pour on top).

This tried and (very much) tested allplants mushroom wellington is one of our favourite recipes from Val. It’s rich, satisfying and makes individual portions, so you don’t have to worry about who gets the biggest slice.

Another good Sunday star is the vegan nut roast recipe from the clever cooks at Honey Buns, packed to the brim with nuts, seeds and dried fruit. Or save yourself the washing up and order an allplants filo pie.

Plant-powered additions

For anyone who loves a bit of sweet with their savoury (we applaud you), you must try Valentina’s maple and ginger roast carrots as part of your next roast! They’re ripe with skin-on flavour goodness.

Your Sunday roast dinner just got an upgrade with these vegan yorkshire puddings. Crispy, golden and fluffy on the inside. Trust us when we say this is the addition you didn't realise your roast was missing.

Let’s help you get your fill with our mushroom, walnut and leek stuffing. Its crunchy, soft, sweet and savoury flavours will be the best addition to your vegan roast. The chance of any left-overs is unlikely.

What roast dinner is complete without crispy roast potatoes? While traditional non-vegan recipes might call for goose fat, these crisp up beautifully and taste delicious with just salt, garlic, rosemary and olive oil (and a few chef's tricks). Or save yourself some time and order allplants crispy roast potatoes - ready to pop straight into the oven, along with other chef-made sides (Truffle Cauliflower Cheese anyone?!).

And lastly, what’s our plant-based, Sunday spectacular missing? Great vegan gravy. This sought after vegan gravy recipe is quick to make, full of flavour and thick and glossy like any good gravy should be. We recommend dousing your whole plate in it.
