Vegan Frozen Yoghurt:  The Best Spots in London

by Emily Neill

8min read

A couple of scoops of frozen yoghurt is one of the tastiest and healthiest ways to cool down on a hot day. Where can you get vegan frozen yoghurt though?

Okay, we’ll level with you, there’s not a huge difference between vegan frozen yoghurt and vegan ice cream. They’re both made with similar ingredients (cashew, coconut, or almond milk), and both give you a refreshing burst of mouth-watering plant-based flavours. Whereas dairy ice cream and frozen yoghurt are separated by their fat content (ice cream = slightly higher in fat, frozen yoghurt = less), this doesn’t really apply to the plant-based recipes.

Having said this, vegan frozen yoghurt is still a big deal. There are lots of brands (mostly in the States – “fro-yo anyone?”) making frozen yoghurt flavours using nothing but plants, and it’s catching on over here in the UK. In this post, we’ll take a look at where you can grab a tub of this refreshing frozen treat in London. And we’ll update it as and when we discover new frozen yoghurt spots!

Where To Get Vegan Frozen Yogurt in London

  1. Yorica

Address: 130 Wardour St, Soho, W1F 8ZN

The first completely vegan ice-cream parlour in the UK, Yorica has got involved in the dairy-free frozen yoghurt game. It serves creative flavours – with everything from ‘Mellow Matcha’ to ‘Good Vibes Vanilla’, which are mostly made with rice milk. If you want to go all out, you can add handfuls of toppings – popcorn, pomegranate hearts, and mini marshmallows are all on the list.

  1. Yogland

Address: 58 Westbourne Grove, W2 5SH

There are plenty of plant-based options, ranging from a scoop of Peach Green Tea frozen yoghurt to refreshing Strawberry Kombucha. And if you want to chill out in more ways than one, then Yogland offers a CBD-infused frozen yoghurt.

  1.  Pinkberry

Address: Angel, 36 Upper Street, N1 0PN

Pinkberry is huge in the States, and it’s now made its way into the UK. It serves a few select flavours, all of which are delectable. Amongst them, there’s strawberry, mango, and chocolate – all of which can be made with coconut milk.
