Easy Low-Calorie Snacks To Make For Your Next Movie Night
4min read
Need some vegan nibbles and want to make them yourself? Here are some super easy and super tasty vegan snacks that you can rustle up before you binge-watch your favourite shows and films— and they’re low-calorie, too!
Four-ingredients cheesy popcorn
What’s a movie night without popcorn? The cinema classic had to make an appearance, of course, and it is certainly show-stopping. Salty, cheesy and best of all, so, so easy, with only four ingredients necessary. Coated in nutritional yeast and a little salt, you will have successfully brought the cinema to you, though I can guarantee you’ll make this all the time, film night or not.
Smoky tortilla chips
No need to feel self-conscious about loud rustling when opening a bag of crisps if you make them yourself. These are cheesy, smoky, and will definitely give Doritos a run for their money. An easy savoury snack to mindlessly much on.
Chilli cashew queso chilli dip
There was no way we would forget about a dip to go with the tortilla chips. We think this might be the ultimate power couple — fresh, crispy tortilla chips paired with the cheesy, salty and creamy goodness that is this chilli cashew chilli dip. It’s got a little kick and the flavour packs a punch, making it a great fresh vegan alternative to the always-soggy and very sad-looking nachos that get served up when you go to the big screen.
Blueberry ice lollies
Balance out the savoury with this sweet treat. Ice lollies aren’t reserved for summer barbeques, it would be a crime to only whip these up in the brief few months of sunshine. Requiring only four ingredients — a recurring theme here — these creamy and fruity lollies are simple and effective.
Vegan Keto granola
Yes, granola can be a cinema snack! Well, this one can, anyway — it’s spiced with a blend of cinnamon and cardamom for a warming and aromatic granola like no other. Crunchy and sweet, this could be an easy alternative to those who like sweet cinema popcorn rather than salt.
For a quick hit of carbs, load up on this easy four-ingredient flatbread. It’s easy and ready to eat in 40 minutes, and it’s heavenly-fresh and warm from the pan. Pair with your favourite hummus and some crudites and you’ve got yourself a mezze-style feast at home.
And if you order a box of allplants, you don’t need to make a low-calorie sweet treat— we do the work for you with our luscious and decadent new desserts including Raspberry Lava Cake, Tiramisu and a Chocolate and Peanut Fondant. Yum.
