Veganuary Meal Plan: Week 3
6min read
It’s the third week of January and whether you’ve slipped up a few times (we’ve been there) or are finding this month a breeze, that’s a huge milestone. This week we’re going to mix things up a bit (did someone say self-saucing chocolate pudding?), making sure that we tackle any cravings you might be having and that you’re as excited to cook as you were on day one.
Tips
If you can’t find a chocolate bar that hits the spot…
Chocolate can be a tricky thing to get just right. Everyone has their favourite bar, and it can take some trial and testing to find a vegan milk chocolate bar that actually tastes like milk chocolate. Luckily, some of the allplants team has done the hard work for the rest of us and created a guide to the best vegan chocolate bars.
If it’s meat you miss…
You’re not alone! We wrote this guide to the best vegan meat substitutes for that very reason. Whether it’s burger patties, sausages, bacon or chicken you’re missing — we’ve got you covered.
If you’re in need of a little motivation not to grab the pigs in blankets in the clearance section of the supermarket, here’s a motivation fun fact for you. Our sustainability manager, Ellie, looked into the impact of replacing the soy mince in our Smoky Soul Chilli with beef in this article and found that the percentage decrease in global warming potential from a typical beef chilli to our Smoky Soul Chilli is a colossal 80%. You can now eat your Smoky Soul Chilli feeling like a hero.
